Metro / The Open University

Metro were running a branded content campaign for The Open University. We produced copy & editorial designs & layout for the paper, then converted this into an app which we designed, built, tested & published via the Metro Newsstand. This campaign ran on both phone & tablet for 6 weeks.

Hearst Magazines UK

Hearst required a responsive tablet presentation that would illustrate the benefits of advertising on Hearst digital platforms. We helped to write & design the presentation, then built & tested the app.

Haymarket / Nike

Haymarket's creative team designed the digital ad for Nike. We then built this interactive ad & added tracking to the site to allow for success matrics to be reviewed & reported to client.

Metro - Clout

Metro were a major sponsor of AdWeek. We were tasked with helping invent a Metro brand to promote their involvement in the event and expanded this into a full magazine-style app available from the Metro Newsstand. This project included design, development, testing, publishing, copywriting, subbing, editing, image sourcing & interviews.

Haymarket / HTC

Haymarket's creative team designed the templates for HTC. We then built this responsive digital campaign & added tracking to the site to allow for success matrics to be reviewed & reported to client.

Peregrine Media

Peregrine Media hosts events & creates supporting supplements & reports around a central theme. We designed & built the website, run by our own internal CMS. We also designed the supplements, that were distributed with The Daily & Sunday Telegraph, & assisted with the copy.

Hearst wanted to set up an external communication, PR & marketing tool to streamline their communications with internal & external clients & retail partners. We developed the strategy & designed the site.

We developed the strategy & assisted in the launch of a new global travel channel on Reuters main website. We also wrote & developed the content strategy for launch.

Metro / Weetabix

Metro were running a branded content campaign for a product launch for Weetabix. We shot the images, produced the copy & initial layout for the paper, then converted this into an app which we designed, built, tested & published on Metro Newsstand for 6 weeks.

Cancer Research

We were asked to devise a follow-up campaign for the 2014 Race for Life events. This comprised of a personalised DM piece which led to a personalised microsite that directed individuals to their Just Giving pages. All target activity was tracked, reported & ran on desktop, tablet and mobile.

Haymarket

Stuff Magazine ran a competition for entrants to design a cover of the magazine. Each reader was given the ability to create their own cover which could then be shared on their social media channels. We built this app that ran on tablet & desktop & added tracking for the campaign.

Metro / British Airways Holidays

Metro were running a large advertising campaign with British Airways Holidays. We were tasked with designing a 'live' co-branded editorial campaign to follow the antics of Joe Wilkinson (Metro's chosen campaign hero) in New York (where Metro readers had voted for him to fly to). This project included campaign design (advertising, false front cover on Life&Style, page layouts), photoshoots, editorial and interviews with Joe.

Newsquest / Barclaycard

Newsquest were running a branded content ad campaign for Barclaycard Bespoke Offers. We wrote the copy & designed in-paper ads for the campaign.

Metro / Hilton

Metro were running a co-branded content campaign for Hilton Hotels. We wrote the copy & designed the pages. This campaign, which included regional copy splits, ran in-paper for 6 weeks.

Metro / Onken

Metro were running a branded content campaign for Onken Muesli. We wrote the copy, designed the pages & produced all supporting in-paper & digital advertising.

HELLO! / Lancôme

HELLO! Magazine was working with Lancôme on a cross media campaign to promote their Advanced Génifique Serum. We designed the magazine advertorial campaign, shot Lancôme products for the promotion and designed & built the digital advertising to promote the campaign.

Sarah is co-owner & MD at CREW. With over 20 years experience in the media & advertising industry she knows a thing or two about marketing. Previously a Director at the Telegraph Media Group, she has overseen promotions for some of the UK's largest brands. A strategist & problem solver, Sarah has also worked in the advertising, sponsorship & promotion departments of events, PR agencies & B2B magazines.

Michael Mursell

Michael is the co-owner & MD & the creative brains behind CREW. He has 20 years experience in the creative industry & brings a wealth of creative knowledge & experience to CREW. From corporate identity creation & brand building to specialised design & project consultation for some of the largest brands in the world. Michael is experienced, hands-on & creative.

Jamie MacDow

Jamie is CREW’s Digital Director & what this man doesn’t know about digital marketing isn’t worth knowing. His experience started in digital design, but he has been working as a front man across the digital landscape for as long as anyone can remember – a good 18 years. He’s also run his own businesses, but for now, Jamie is happy directing everything digital at CREW!

Rena Constandinou

Rena is CREW’s Lead Graphic Designer & what a leading lady she is. Naturally creative, she can turn the most basic of briefs into award-winning creative. Brilliant at conceptual ideas & creative development, there’s nothing in print, graphic, brand or advertising that Rena can’t do. Having worked for 10 years as a graphic designer she brings style & form to any campaign. Well in fact, she styles everything from herself to her homemade cakes!

Dany Somoza

Driven, great fun & always maxes out at 100%, Dany is our multi-disciplined creative graphic design maker. With over 10 years experience in graphic design, he’s a corporate branding & advertising specialist, having worked within agencies & as a freelancer in London & even had a stint at running his own agency in Spain!
